Subject: Issue with Installshield OEM Tuner
Feedback Type: Problem
Product Area: Notes 8 Client
Technical Area: Install
Platform: Windows XP client
Release: 8.0.1
Reproducible: Always

I am using the OEM tuner release 6 to create a really simple install package that I intend to wrap with SUrunas.exe and roll out with Smart Upgrade.

When I make the package, I configure it to create a setup.exe with the setup.ini that holds parameters such as the transform file name.

The issue occurs that when you run setup.exe, it begins to install, but then almost immediately produces a "prompt" type screen for the setup.exe command as if you have entered a bad parameter. Installation stops.

This does not occur if you remove the name of the transform file from the Setup.exe. But then, of course, you lose the customizations.

It does not occur when you create a package from any of the Release 7 client versions.

You can still initall with a transform if you create a CMD or BAT file using the msiexec.exe with the proper parameters.
